Where does the data come from?: Operators on the Itemic network grade items at the source, and each grade contributes anonymized signal to the Itemic Index. Individual operator data stays private to that operator.
How is privacy protected?: Identifying metadata is stripped before any data is exposed via the API, and org-level data is never readable by other orgs. The Index is a GDPR-compliant dataset.
What if I exceed my quota?: Free-tier callers see a sign-up prompt. Paid plans return HTTP 429 with a `Retry-After` header and a problem+json body. We don't surprise-bill — you'll get an email at 80% and 100% of quota.
How do I cancel?: From the Itemic dashboard (app.itemic.us → Billing) at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No phone calls, no retention friction.
